During the COVID-19 virus epidemiological situation the Observatory is closed for public until further notice.

Office hours:

Monday – Friday
9:00 – 14:00h

Evening opening hours (in case of cloudy, foggy, rainy or snowy weather conditions observations through telescope are not possible):

The Observatory is open for the public at evening hours four days in the week:

January 2nd  – May 31st and August 16th – December 30th

Tuesday:       20:00 – 22:00 h
Wednesday: 20:00 – 22:00 h
Thursday:     20:00 – 22:00 h
Friday:           20:00 – 22:00 h

June 1st – August 15th

Tuesday:       20:30 – 22:30 h
Wednesday: 20:30 – 22:30 h
Thursday:     20:30 – 22:30 h
Friday:           20:30 – 22:30 h

In the case of favorable weather conditions (nights with a mostly clear sky) it is possible to observe the night sky through the telescope with expert astronomy explanations from our staff. For individual visits the entrance is free.

The Observatory is closed for public on saturdays, sundays and public holidays.
