dr. sc. DARIJE MARIČIĆ, director (Sanski Most 1976) received his PhD in 2007 with the topic Corona ejections of matter, in the field of Atomic, Molecular and Astrophysics. Employee of the Zagreb Astronomical Observatory since 2003. He published astronomical articles mainly in the journals Čovjek i semir and Matematičko-fizički list and papers in Astronomy and Astrophysics, Solar Physics and Sun and Geosphere. Member of the International Astronomical Union, Croatian Astronomical Society (Vice President since 2020 -), Astronomical Astronautical Society “Zagreb” (Secretary from 2007 to 2009), Secretary of the Zagreb Astronomical Association (since 2008-). Participated in a large number of scientific conferences at home and abroad. Member of the State Commission for Meetings and Competitions in Astronomy (from 2003 to 2008), associate of the e-school of astronomy and lecturer at summer schools. Head of the Astronomical School (since 2007-).

mr.sc. IVAN ROMŠTAJN, secretary (Požega 1971) graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek (1997) and received his master’s degree in 2010 from the Faculty of Science in Zagreb. Employee of the Observatory since 2008. He published astronomical articles in the journals Čovjek i svemir, Vasiona (Belgrade), and scientific papers in Astronomy and Astrophysics and the Central European Astrophysical Bulletin. Editor-in-Chief of the journal Čovjek i semir  (2008-), member of the State Commission for Meetings and Competitions in Astronomy (2009-). Secretary of the Croatian Astronomical Society (2012-2016), Vice President of Astronomical Astronautical Society “Zagreb”(2020-), lecturer at summer schools and team leader of the Croatian Olympic Team at the International Astronomical Olympiad (2008-2009) and the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (2011) .-2013 and 2015.-).

DAMIR HRŽINA, dipl. ing., (Zagreb 1971) graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zagreb (1998). Employee of the Zagreb Astronomical Observatory since 1999. He published astronomical articles in the journal Čovjek i svemir. He published his papers in the journals Solar Physics, Sun and Geosphere and Hvar Obs Bull. Author of Maps of the Sky (Zagreb 2001) and Rotating Maps of the Sky (Zagreb 2003 and Zagreb 2011). Deputy Editor of Čovjek i svemir. Editor-in-Chief of Bolid magazine (2006-). Edited the e-school project website. Secretary of Croatian Astronomical Society (2008-2012), President of Astronomical Astronautical Society “Zagreb” (2003-2020), Secretary of Astronomical Astronautical Society “Zagreb” (1999-2003, 2020-) and Secretary of the Zagreb Astronomical Association (1999-2008). ). Member of the State Commission for Meetings and Competitions in Astronomy (2000-2009 and 2011-), lecturer at summer schools and seminars for teachers. Team leader of the Croatian Olympic Team at the International Astronomical Olympiad (2007-2010) and the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (2011-). National Astronomy Education Coordinator at the International Astronomical Union (2020-)

phd student FILIP ŠTERC (Zagreb 1986), phd student at the Faculty of Science. He published astronomical articles mainly in the journal Čovjek i svemir, and papers in Solar Physics and Sun and Geosphere. Member of Croatian Astronomical Society,  Astronomical Astronautical Society “Zagreb”. Participated in scientific conferences in Croatia and abroad. Lecturer at summer schools of the Astronomical Summer Astronomical School (since 2017-).
